It's a great day when The CW releases new The Vampire Diaries photos, especially when we're anxiously awaiting the Season 6 premiere on October 2nd! And as usual, the entire cast looks H-O-T in the just-released season 6 cast pics.

Thanks to the trailer, we know Damon and Bonnie will be coming back somehow, but the new pics reveal another fave returning for season 6. We're totally excited to see former vampire hunter/history teacher Alaric is going to be a regular!
